Devotec Industries is deeply committed to empowering those in the developing world. We believe that by working in conjunction with NGOs and charities active in the developing world, we can help utilise a natural resource that is in such abundance in many developing countries. By integrating the use of solar power to fulfil their energy requirements, people in developing countries can have access to 100% clean and 100% free energy- this is the goal that Devotec Industries is committed to help turn into a reality.
We are actively seeking charities and NGOs to work with in attaining this goal of using sustainable clean energy for the developing world.
Devotec Industries is also keen to work in conjunction with other companies' corporate responsibility programs, so that together we can help provide solar batteries and energy to the developing countries around the world.

HAPI mainly focuses on providing fair trade jobs and sales outlets for artisans, but they also support other projects ranging from a health clinic and infant nutrition program to home repairs and a children's program.
Devotec was approached by a volunteer at HAPI that told us about strong, resourceful, sunny, and peaceful Mizak where, like many Haitian communities, there is no running water, no electricity, and really bad roads. She was there as a dance instructor and she quickly learned that in Haiti music is vital to dance.
The community lives in conditions where AC powered devices are neither affordable nor viable, so the Solar Sound 2 arrived as an alternative and practical solution for the girls in Mizak to continue to dance! It arrived in May, 2011.
(mentions other devices names)... "They require either batteries or a gas generator to work, and these things are not only expensive but bad for the environment. It's been proven that Haitians in Mizak embrace solar energy (ovens are just one example) and so your speakers would be ideal."
"We are very proud of both our young dance students and two teen teachers. They have a positive, creative program going and having a Solar Sound 2 will certainly be a terrific resource for the group."
"This means the girls will be dancing for many moons to come!"
