No, the USB is an input for charging the Solar Sound™ 2 only, the Solar Sound™ 2 cannot recharge another device.
If you want even more power from your Solar Sound™ 2, then you can just plug it in to the supplied charger, and the PowerBoost function will turn on automatically, supplying extra power to the speakers for louder, clearer sound playback!
Make sure that you have plugged the cable into the Line In port, which is on the far left on the back on the Solar Sound™ 2.
The Solar Sound™ 2 only connects to a previously paired device and not with my other Bluetooth devices.
You are experiencing this problem because the Solar Sound™ 2 automatic pairing function is controlled not by the Solar Sound™ 2, but by the device you are connecting it to. The Solar Sound™ 2 simply remembers the last-connected device and will always re-pair to that device unless the connection is turned off on the device itself, or the device is not available.
For example, take two iPhones, (let's call them iPhone A and iPhone B) both with Bluetooth turned on, and within range of the Solar Sound™ 2. If you connect to the Solar Sound™ 2 on iPhone A, then turn off the Solar Sound™ 2 (either by pressing and holding the centre button or pressing the main power switch), and turn it on again, it will automatically connect again to iPhone A, if iPhone A still has Bluetooth turned on. iPhone B will not get any chance to connect to the Solar Sound™ 2 so long as iPhone A has Bluetooth turned on, since the Solar Sound™ 2 remembers the last connected device which is iPhone A. To connect to iPhone B, you have to either:
1. Disconnect from the Solar Sound™ 2 by pressing 'forget this device' on iPhone A. After disconnecting the Solar Sound™ 2 will enter pairing mode straight away (so no need to turn it off and on again).
2. Turn the Bluetooth off on iPhone A.

For a walk-through on how to connect your Solar Sound™ via Bluetooth, we suggest you read our Sharing your music is easy - here's how file on the Solar Sound™ page.
UPDATE: iPhone iOS 4.1 now supports track fast forward and Rewind.
The buttons on the Solar Sound™ that Fast Forward and Rewind your music use the Bluetooth AVRCP profile. This profile is used by most Bluetooth phones, but unfortunately Apple does yet support the AVRCP profile, although they will hopefully support this soon. You can still control your music using your iphone.
The default passwod is 0000.
To get the best results, leave the Solar Charger outside on a sunny day, angled at the sun. Also make sure the solar panel itself is clean, by wiping it with a damp cloth if it is dirty.
If you put the Solar Charger close to an artificial light source, you will see the blue LED light up and the charger will begin charging. However, most artificial light sources are much less powerful than proper sun light, to it will take a long time to charge the unit from a lamp or light bulb.
We recommend between 24-36hours to charge the unit completely by solar
There are a few reasons for this. Firstly, our battery size, at 1800mAh is about twice the size of our competitors, so correspondingly, it takes about twice the time to charge. Second, when we were researching the design of our solar charger, we looked into different sizes of solar panel to use. However, what we decided was that we wanted to make something that was truly portable and that people would actually carry around with them, as oppose to a much bigger and more expensive device that would be quicker at charging from its solar panels, but not easily portable. Over 98% of our customers are near either a wall outlet, a USB port or a car power socket every three days, so we see the product as primarily a back-up source of power for your cellphone or ipod, with the added extra of being able to use the solar when there is no other source of power available, as oppose to a dedicated solar device.
About 8-12hours
This is because our Engineer wanted to limit the amount of current going into the battery of the solar charger, so prolonging the batteries' life. The less current going into the Lithium-Ion batteries, the less distress that is caused to them, and the longer they will last.
Once charged up, the Solar Charger should keep power for 3 months or more before it needs to be recharged again. Then just recharge the Solar Charger as necessary.
